California The California gets its contemporary style from an elegant combination of French Provincial and California Bungalow elements. Projecting from the fully-hipped main section, a double-gabled bay provides a covered entryway and small front porch. Another 8x20 foot porch shades the back, offering ample space for outdoor activities. The 40-foot wide open-span interior allows for almost unlimited design choices. The California model 1A offers 2026 square feet of living space with a 480 square foot garage while our recommended floor plan for model 1B uses all 2500 square feet of enclosed area as living space. The California 2 adds 612 square feet of garage to its 2694 square foot living space. Our complete package includes all of the materials needed to build the "dried in" shell of a home, except doors and windows: all of the bolt together red iron steel, interior and exterior metal studs, window and door framing and trim (windows and doors by others), radiant barrier insulation wrap for the roof and walls, colored steel roof system with Kynar 500 paint (the best available), horizontal lap steel siding with a wood grain texture (looks like clapboard), gutters and downspouts, trim, nuts, bolts and screws. |
